Car Insurance Dodge (Car Insurance). The flasher relay in my 2002 grand am randomly "clicks" like when I have a blink or hazards on.?

The flasher relay in my 2002 grand am randomly "clicks" like when I have a blink or hazards on.? I tried replacing the hazards switch, which contains the flasher relay as well, and nothing changed. All the flashers and hazards work just fine, but it just randomly clicks when I am driving. Any ideas or a point to start looking? I am stumped as well as everyone else I have asked.

Very common problem for this car. It's simply a dirty electrical contact. I had to do this once. If you do it yourself, just be careful of with the horn switch when putting it back together and you'll be fine. If the hazards work, then the flasher works. The flasher is used by both the signal light lever and hazards. So, most likely the problem is with the signal light switch. Which in some cars that means pulling the steering wheel off to get to the mechanism. Some part of it could be partially worn out.

Dodge . Metal Cutting Auto Body Tools

Even in this age of easily replaceable parts, auto body mechanics often must perform metal surgery. Most saws can be fitted with a metal cutting blade, but job-specific tools are available. Body shops prefer those that save time and labor.
Impact Hammer
Noisy, violent and imprecise, an impact hammer with a chisel attachment is used for rough work on severely damaged sheet metal that is beyond repair. Hammers are available in electric and air powered varieties, of which the air chisel is the most common.
Cut-Off Tool
The best cut-off tools are dedicated units with spark shields and high-torque motors. They feature reinforced abrasive cutting wheels that are great for more detailed work in tight quarters. Air and electric models are equally popular.
Metal Shears
Metal shears and nibblers are the scalpels of auto body work. Manual, electric and air powered models are available, as well as slip-on attachments for drills. Powered units make fast, precise, almost effortless cuts in sheet metal at the touch of a trigger. Whether cutting away parts of a damaged panel or trimming a replacement, metal shears are worth their extra expense.

Dodge . How to Restore Mustangs

Restoring a classic Mustang can be an exciting, rewarding, and even profitable hobby. However, it is not without its challenges. Classic Mustangs come in various conditions of repair and disrepair, and some projects can be finished in a weekend while others may require years of work. Each Mustang will require a unique and specific restoration plan to fully restore it, but there are some general tips and strategies that will be useful for most Mustang restorations.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions

Step by Step :
1
Plan out all tasks and objectives of your restoration. This will save time and money and help eliminate the need to repeat steps. It can also help you stick to a budget.
2
Label any and all parts that you remove from the Mustang. Use a large bulletin board or cloth to arrange items such as screws and bolts so that you remember what they are used for. This will drastically speed up the process of putting them back into the vehicle.
3
Search local salvage yards for usable parts for your Mustang. This will typically be much less expensive than ordering new or refurbished parts from a catalog or a website.
4
Use a guide such as a factory manual or Haynes manual to direct you on how to safely remove vehicle components without damaging them. Some parts of the vehicles have tabs or triggers that must be activated to remove them, and trying to yank these parts off without first disengaging these mechanisms can result in permanent damage to your vehicle.
5
Remove grease, grime, and dirt with a toothbrush. Toothbrush bristles are just abrasive enough to remove most tough debris without damaging paint, wires, or other components.
6
Check for unusual wear patterns on engine or transmission components. These can be hints to other problems that need to be addressed.
7
Consult with friends, mechanics, or other sources of information if you get stuck. Even the experts need help sometimes.

tion, "Fixing Electrical Gadgets That Are on the Blink" — the only sections of this chapter that need concern you are those that deal with checking, read ing, and reinstalling spark plugs. The symbols (ff) and 0 will alert you to sections that pertain to you. The bad news is that when the time comes to tune or repair your vehicle's sophisticated electronic system, the bills will probably be expensive. For those of you who have older vehicles with non-electronic ignition systems that need regular tune-ups, the good news is that this may be the last book that still provides easy instructions for tuning your car yourself. This chapter tells you how frequently you should do it, what parts you need, how to make sure that you get the right ones, and how to do the main tasks associated with servicing your distributor and adjusting dwell and timing. You'll find this little symbol 0 in the margin next to sections that apply only to these older vehicles. 2Oil Part "l: KeeP'n9 Your ^arm Good Condition, System by System If you have an old-style non-electronic distributor that needs to be serviced on a regular basis, you can do it yourself for a fraction of what it would cost to have a service facility do it for you. involved are easy to adjust and replace.) And there are several additional good reasons to tune your car yourself: First, you can afford to tune your vehicle more often. This saves you even more money because a well-tuned car lasts longer than one that isn't. Second, a well-tuned car is a gas saver. You not only spend less money for fuel, but your vehicle produces less air pollution, too. Finally, if you tune your car yourself, you know whether it's been done properly, and you can adjust it yourself for peak performance. Before you read this chapter or attempt any of the work in it, be sure to read Chapter 5, which describes the different types of electrical systems on your car: the starting, charging, and ignition systems. If you do a lot of stop-and-go driving or pull heavy loads (like a camper or boat), your ignition system may need to be tuned more often, no matter what type of system it is.
